This lightweight backpack, weighing slightly less than five pounds, has a main compartment with a carrying capacity of 65 liters. This means that you can bring along as much clothing and gear that you need if you want to travel the seven seas.
The main compartment is top-loading and is closed with a drawstring inserted at the edge of a gusset. An adjustable top lid that also provides extra storage sits atop the gusseted closure to provide additional protective cover.
At the front of the pack is a sleeping bag compartment. This is separate from the main compartment and can be access from the front. There are also front pockets and webbing daisy chains which can hold plenty of accessories. Mesh pockets on both sides of the pack are intended to hold High Sierra’s 1000 ml hydration reservoirs. These are useful when going camping. Attached to the backpack strap is another pocket for your cell phone, MP3 player, or GPS gear.
The ERGO-FIT shoulder harness is made of Vapel™ mesh Airflow™. It has adjustable load lifters and is equipped with thick foam padding. Two aluminum frame bars support the pack. These can also be adjusted to the contours of your back. And to keep it cool and dry, the molded-foam back panel includes Airflow™ channels. The waist belt which distributes the weight of the load is, like the harness, also made of Vapel™ mesh Airflow™. To further help in the stabilization of the load, an adjustable sternum strap is provided.
A rain cover that can be tucked away comes with this 32 x 14.25 x 8.75-inch backpack. This will not only keep the rain out, but also thieves when riding in public transport. For the colors, you choose black, or a combination of black and tungsten with either pacific blue or chipotle.
